Mike Lay has been a subject of my photography for some years now. He’s remained a huge influence in my surfing as well as photos. Mike is a wordsmith of notoriety. His poems are beautiful and his writing resonates with me on so many levels.

Ill never be able to write like Mike, but there is an element of poetry in photography.
